CrossFit Kids Programming is all about getting kids moving more, building self confidence, building team work and, most importantly, having fun.
The CrossFit Kids & Teens program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for 8 year olds and elite high school athletes. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. The needs are the same – they only differ by degree not kind. Our programming is predominately focused around the 10 General Physical skills which include;
• Cardiovascular Respiratory Endurance
• Stamina
• Strength
• Flexibility
• Power
• Speed
• Coordination
• Accuracy
• Agility
• Balance
The Benefits

The Facts
The facts are that the number of overweight children is increasing. About one-quarter of children in Australia are now overweight or obese. Research shows that overweight children are more likely to become overweight adults and so here at CrossFit BodyM we believe in leading by example.
Encouraging your child to eat healthy food and be physically active is important for their healthy future. It can be a challenge and requires patience, positivity, practice and time – we understand.
Many kids are spending less time exercising and more time in front of the TV, computer, or video-game console. And today’s busy families have fewer free moments to prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals. From fast food to electronics, quick and easy is the reality for many people in the new millennium.
Preventing kids from becoming overweight means adapting the way your family eats and exercises, and how you spend time together. Helping kids lead healthy lifestyles begins with parents who lead by example.
How to Start
Starting is easy. We encourage all new young athletes and parents to come and meet our coaching staff and tour the facilities. From here you may decide to book your child in for a class in which our staff will discuss any physical or psychological barriers they may encounter along the way. From experience most of our new young athletes are just keen to give it go and have some fun with like minded kids and teenagers. Program Ages & Fees
Currently we offer a casual ‘pay per class’ system based on $10.00 per child/teen per class. Each class runs for approximately 45 minutes and parents may either stay and watch or return at the end of the class period. Our current programming is best suited for kids & teens aged 8-16.
Class Times
CrossFit BodyM Kids & Teens classes are currently run on Fridays only from 4.00-4.45pm – bookings essential.
